The current locations in Perth that I’ve trialed and tested throughout the years. Some are seasonal locations that are only available at certain times of the year. I prefer to stick to locations I know well & that work for my style so I can create the best images for you and your family
guildford meadow
A large open space, that’s easy to walk into, beautiful at sunset & where I’ll be photographing many of my families in 2024. Wheelchair access, native trees, long grasses that dry out in Summer with 360 degree sunsets making this a favourite location for my families. Perfect for large family groups and children that love to run and explore with restaurants close by
bougainvillea
When in season I have two large bougainvillea that I love to use as a beautiful flower backdrop for Maternity, Mummy & baby and couple photoshoots. Flowering during Summer and the hotter months
PERSIMMON Orchard
Taking bookings now for 2025
A beautiful orchard where you can have your photos taken in May & early June when the leaves change colour from green to orange & red in Autumn. This is a weather dependent location with the season only lasting for two to three weeks and can easily go quickly if no rain or storms taking the leaves off. Suits ages 4+ not the best place for toddlers

Wisteria & rose garden
This beautiful private property shines in Spring with their beautiful weeping wisteria and all throughout Summer the roses are stunning at this manicured location

Rustic vineyard
Another beautiful private property I have permission to take my clients to in the Swan Valley. I’ve created photos here for years and I love it for its rustic character and relaxed private photoshoots. The leaves of the vineyards turn to golds and oranges in April & May making it the most beautiful location for Autumn photos close to the city
swing at the farm
As well as my everlastings in Spring I’ve made a swing at the farm in the Swan Valley that’s gorgeous any time of the year. Green grasses in Winter and rich golden glows in the Summer months, large enough for the whole family to sit for photos and the kids really enjoy the horses and farm experience
PERRY’S PADDOCK
Beautiful all year round it’s so large I can create a variety to your photos with beautiful golden light all year round. It offers so much space that it eliminates people in the background of your photos. Perfect for large groups of families and for kids that like to run and play. Kids & toddlers LOVE running around and enjoying the environment
*please note I am using a fields in Guildford more now as Perry’s Paddock is so busy but it’s still one of my favourite places for family photos especially large family groups
BEACH
Mostly I photograph at beautiful City Beach or surrounds. Beach can be tricky with wind, people & dogs in your photos so hearing me guide you is difficult. It takes a family enjoying and having fun more than posed images. I also find it best for a weekday due to it being a very busy location especially on weekends. I photograph 15 minutes before the sun sets and the best photos I find are once the sun has set and we enter blue light, it is then that your photos are really beautiful by the ocean which means this location suits a 45 minute photoshoot best. I will generally photograph at the beach until it is dark, so please keep all that in mind when wanting the beach for your family or large family photos
